An action is refused: the messages and their solutions
The most common refusal messages (quota, permissions, transition rules, credits, storage) and what to do about each.
"Your plan limit is reached" when creating a project
Your plan limits the number of projects you take part in, counting the ones you created and the ones you were invited to. Leave a project you no longer need (in My projects, card menu › Leave project), or move to a higher plan. See Plans and capabilities.
"Invitation not possible: this person already belongs to the maximum number of projects"
The invitee's project quota is full. They must leave a project or move to a higher plan; you can also gift them a subscription.
"Your plan limit is reached (5 members max)" when inviting
A project created by a Starter account holds 5 members at most. The project's creator must move to the Team plan to invite more. See Invite your team.
"Feature available from the … plan"
The feature depends on your own plan. See A page or a button is missing.
"This project forbids moving from … to …"
The project has transition rules: some status changes are forbidden, or restricted to certain roles or to a specific permission. The message names the rule involved:
- "forbids moving from A to B": go through an allowed intermediate status;
- "is reserved for": ask someone with the role shown to make the change;
- "requires the … permission": ask a project admin for that permission.
Rules can be viewed and changed in Settings › Project, Workflow card. See Transition rules.
"AI credits used up" or "Not enough AI credits"
The message shows the action's cost, your balance and the next renewal date. Buy a top-up or wait for the renewal. See AI credits.
"Storage quota reached for this project" or "File too large"
An attachment cannot exceed 10 MB. A project's total storage depends on its creator's plan; delete attachments you no longer need, or ask the creator to move to a higher plan.
Inserting a screenshot
Paste an image straight into a ticket's editor: it becomes an attachment instead of weighing down the text.
Deleting your account is refused
A subscription is still active on your account, or you are paying for a gifted subscription. See Delete your account.
