Manage how you sign in: Google, Microsoft, email address and password
Link or remove Google and Microsoft, change your email address, and reset your password.
Sign in with Google or Microsoft
- Open Settings, Profile tab, Sign-in methods card.
- Link Google or Microsoft. That account's address can differ from your Manifst address.
You can then sign in with that provider from the sign-in page. To remove a method, you must have another one left: you cannot remove your only sign-in method.
An account already exists with your address
If you click Continue with Google (or Microsoft) while a Manifst account already exists with the same address, Manifst asks for its password once, to prove the account is yours. The two are then linked.
Change your email address
- In Settings › Profile, edit Email, then click Save.
- A confirmation link is sent to the new address. Your current address stays in place until you click that link.
Password
There is no password change in Settings: to set a new one, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. The link you receive is valid for 1 hour.
Confirming your identity
Sensitive operations (linking or removing a sign-in method, changing your address) require you to have proved your identity within the last ten minutes. If not, Manifst asks for your password or a Google or Microsoft sign-in, then resumes the operation.
