#Where the figures come from

Manifst calculates the actual cost from the time logged on tickets, multiplied by each person's daily rate in force on the work date (set in Team). Nothing else needs to be entered: logging time is enough. In detail: How actual cost is calculated.

#Declare the budget

In the Budget tab, fill in the Budget (BAC), the budget at completion, and the Contingency, a reserve included in that amount. Without a BAC, the earned value indicators stay empty.

Only the project owner and admins can change the budget; others see it Read-only.

#What the Budget tab shows

• Performance indices (EVM): the earned value (what the completed work is worth against the budget), the cost variance and the indices that tell you whether you are spending faster than you deliver.
• Forecast at completion: the expected cost at completion if the trend continues.
• Sprint breakdown and per Super Epic, with their indicative envelopes.
